我将翻过峰峦

去山的那边

我将跨跃波涛

去海的彼岸

 

朋友　　请祷告为我送行

 

我不是去山中修道

修道与我无缘

我不是去苦海悲叹

苦海已经走完

我不是孤雁东去

有圣灵在我身边

 

朋友　　请祷告为我送行

 

神的呼召

已从山那边传来

耶稣的恩惠

已在海那边回旋

那便是我要去的地方

那便是我投身的明天

 

朋友　　请祷告为我送行

 

你们的祝福

将使我一路平安

你们的祈愿

将使我喜乐无限

你们的瞩望　你们的期盼

你们一切美好的心意

都将伴我日日夜夜　　岁岁年年！

 

 

I ask your prayers, my friends, as I depart

 

 

I am going over the mountain —

I will cross to the other side

I will traverse the ocean —

I will cross the waves of the sea.

 

I ask your prayers, my friends, as I depart

 

It is not to cloister myself that I go

For cloistering is irrelevant to me.

Nor do I travel the bitter sea to despair

For the bitter sea has already been crossed.

Neither am I solitary bird flying East

Since the Holy Spirit accompanies me.

 

I ask your prayers, my friends, as I depart

 

God’s call has already come from the mountain;

From the other side, Jesus’ grace now rings out!

Yonder place is where I am heading,

For the future, my commitment is there.

 

I ask your prayers, my friends, as I depart

 

Your blessing will bring peace as I travel;

Your prayers, boundless joy will bestow.

–Your foresight and your expectation

–All the beautiful thoughts in your hearts

Day by day — year by year

Will attend me!
